SEBI Circular: Issuance of Securities in dematerialized form in case of Investor Service Requests

SEBI Circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD_RTAMB/P/CIR/2022/8 dated January 25, 2022 with regard to issuance of securities in dematerialized form in case of Investor Service Requests.

SEBI Circular: Revised norms / procedural requirements for processing service requests

“SEBI has, vide the Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/37 dated March 16, 2023 revised the norms/ procedural requirements for processing service requests with regard to furnishing of PAN, Address with PIN, email address, mobile number, bank account details and nomination by holders of physical securities.

Folios wherein any one of the cited document / details are not available on or after October 01, 2023, such folios shall be frozen by the Registrars and Transfer Agent of the Company (RTA)”

SEBI Circular: Non-submission of ‘Choice of Nomination’

In order to facilitate ease of doing investments, SEBI has issued the Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD-1/P/CIR/2024/81 dated June 10, 2024 with regard to the following subject:

Non-submission of ‘Choice of Nomination’

i. Doing away with freezing of Demat Accounts and Mutual Fund Folios for existing investors.
ii. To remove freeze on payment of corporate benefits and service of physical folios.
